Terms of Service

Effective October 27, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Substratal Apps ("we", "us") for your use of substratalapps.com, the Substratal Hub, the Platform API and related services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to them. If you use the Services for an organization, you agree for that organization and confirm you have the authority to do so.

1. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use the Services.
• Give accurate information and keep it current.
• Keep your password, sign-in methods and API keys secret. You're responsible for activity under your account and keys.
• Tell us right away at admin@interlinedlist.com if you think your account or keys have been compromised.

2. Acceptable use

Don't use the Services to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• send spam, malware or deceptive content, or phish for credentials;
• harass, threaten or exploit anyone, including children;
• get around rate limits, security, or access controls, or access other people's accounts or data without permission;
• disrupt or overload the Services, or probe them for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• resell or rebrand the Services as your own platform without our written agreement.

3. Building on the Platform API

• Follow the API documentation, including versioning, rate limits and usage limits for your plan.
• If your app handles other people's information through the Services, you are responsible for having a privacy policy, getting any consents the law requires, and using that information only as your users have allowed.
• We may change the API. We'll give reasonable notice before removing or breaking a supported API version, except where a change is needed for security or legal reasons.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content and data you put into the Services. You give us permission to host, copy, process and display it only as needed to provide and protect the Services for you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

5. Our property

The Services, including the software, API, documentation, design and the Substratal Apps name and logos, are owned by Substratal Apps. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services as intended. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, on the schedule shown when you subscribe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time in the Hub; your plan stays active to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Prices don't include taxes, which you're responsible for.
• We'll give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.
• If a payment fails, we may limit paid features until it's resolved.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Services available and secure, but they may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the Services, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or if we're required to by law. Where reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem and export your data. Sections 4, 5, 9, 10, 11 and 12 survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't promise the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Substratal Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Substratal Apps against claims arising from your content, your apps built on the Services, or your breach of these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date above, and for significant changes we'll notify you by email or in the Hub at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the new terms.

14. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Services. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term isn't a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale.
